We are using the SoftConf Conference Portal for conference registration, and UBC Touchnet Storefront to accept the registration fees.
Registration Instructions
- Register an account for the VMPT 2026 Softconf Conference Portal.
- If you are already registered, you can log in to your existing account and go to the VMPT 2026 by copy and pasting the link onto a new window: https://softconf.com/p/vmpt2026).
- On the navigation pane of the User Console under ‘Registration and Payment’, click on ‘Register to Attend the Event‘.
- Select the type of registration. You can register as an Attendee, as a Presenter, or as a Keynote Speaker.
- Fill in the necessary information.
- Please indicate if you wish to attend the banquet to be held during the evening. You may request a vegetarian meal by checking the relevant box. Banquet fee is included in the conference registration fee.
- Click on ‘Save‘ to save your information. You should receive an email from ‘Organizers, VMPT (vmpt2026@softconf.com)’ confirming your registration. Please close this platform and proceed to our UBC TouchNet Storefront to make your payment.
* Please note that your registration is not complete until a payment has been made.

Payment Instructions
- Please click on or copy paste the following link to go to our UBC Storefront: https://secure.touchnet.net/C20435_ustores/web/store_main.jsp?STOREID=268&SINGLESTORE=true.
- Choose the appropriate registration type (Full Delegate or Student).
- You may register more than one attendee if necessary. Choose the number of attendees and click ‘Add To Cart‘.
- Fill in the attendee information. Please note that attendee name and email are necessary to proceed. Click ‘Continue‘
- If you intend to pay for more than one type of attendee, you may click on ‘Continue Shopping‘ and put another item in your cart. Above rules will apply. If you have finished shopping, click on ‘Checkout‘.
- Enter your email and click ‘Continue‘.
- Enter your payment method, credit card information, and billing address. We accept Visa and Mastercard. Click ‘Continue‘ for confirmation and receipt. A receipt will also be sent to the email address you have provided (step 6).
