Abstract Submission Instructions
We welcome abstract submissions from participants. The submission can be for the conference, poster session, or very recently accepted journal article. VMPT will not publish any full paper so that the authors can later publish their original papers in the peer reviewed journals. VMPT is a place where early research initiatives can also be presented and debated.
We are using the SoftConf Conference Portal for abstract submissions. To submit an abstract to VMPT 2026:
- Register an account for the VMPT 2026 Softconf Conference Portal.
- If you are already registered, you can log in to your existing account and go to the VMPT 2026 by copy and pasting the link onto a new window: https://softconf.com/p/vmpt2026).
- On the navigation pane of the User Console under ‘Submission(s)’, click on ‘Make a new Submission‘.
- Enter the title for your submission in the ‘Title of Submission‘ field and specify the author(s) in the ‘List of Authors‘ section.
- You can enter your own information by clicking on the ‘Add Self’ button.
- You can add a new author by clicking on ‘Add Unregistered User’ and manually entering their information.
- From the ‘Submission Categories‘ section, select the most relevant theme.
- Enter the abstract for your submission in the ‘Summary‘ field.
- The ‘Submission File‘ section is for uploading your paper or presentation. Accepted formats are Adobe PDF (.pdf), MS Word (.doc, .docx), and MS PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx).
- Click the “Save” button to submit your abstract. New submissions will be accepted until April 2, 2026. Revisions are accepted until the ‘Final Submissions‘ deadline.
* You should receive an email from ”Organizers, VMPT (vmpt2026@softconf.com)” confirming your submission. If you do not receive a confirmation email, you may check manually by logging into your SoftConf account and clicking the “Your current Submission(s)” link.
